Everything said about her in this article is absolutely true. She was encouraging to African American and white students. We all held her and Breland in the highest regard. She was always encouraging and ready to give counsel.Over the years I have seen her at alumni events and she has always been engaging and inquisitive about my professional success. I was always proud to tell her of my progress. When I started my now successful food company 13 yeears ago, I remember how encouraging she was to the point of networking me with individuals at Kroger Company headquarters in Cincinnati. My only regret is I never had the opportunity to let her know how grateful I was for her support.
