Kuamka 2012 Schedule - Jan 28th-Feb 4th!


I hope everybody has been taking advantage of the Kuamka Events thus far. The rest of the events for the week are as follows:

Wed. Feb. 1st: Black History Opening Ceremony: 4-5pm, AACRC. ; Kuamka Talent Show: 7-9pm, TUC Great Hall

Thurs. Feb. 2nd: 4A Networking Reception: 6:30-8pm, AACRC

Fri. Feb. 3rd: Kuamka Pride Day: 12-2pm, AACRC ; International Slam Poetry Night:4-6pm, AACRC

Sat. Feb. 4th: The RED, BLACK, GREEN, AND GOLD KUAMKA BALL: 7-10pm, TUC Great Hall --tickets available at the AACRC. Semi-formal wear or African Attire.

Please go out and support the African-American community at UC during one of our best weeks of the year!

BYOO=Bring Your Own Opinion

As a part of Kuamka week, the United Black Student Association is hosting an event that RAPP facilitators will be helping lead.
Come out to tomorrow, Tuesday 2 February, for a discussion on Black families. In this forum, we'll explore and challenge our ideas and assumptions about black families.
