The entire campus community is invited to attend President Gregory Williams' first State of the University Address on Oct. 27, as well as a faculty-led workshop on the UC2019 strategic plan to follow.
President Gregory H. Williams will present his first State of the University Address, during the Fall 2010 All-University Faculty Meeting. The event will take place from 3 to 5 p.m., on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, in the Great Hall at Tangeman University Center. The entire campus community is invited to attend. President Williams’ address, at approximately 3:20 p.m., will lead off an interactive segment of the meeting, resting on a faculty-led workshop with small-group, roundtable discussions focused on the role of faculty in the UC2019 strategic plan’s operational principles and core values. During the workshop portion of the meeting, each table will have a “facilitator/recorder” to collect input, which will then be provided as a component of Provost Santa Ono’s Academic Master Plan phase 1 working group effort.
At 5 p.m., the meeting will close with a reception that will then lead to the inaugural Faculty/Staff Art Show Auction in support of the endowment for the Faculty Award for Exemplary Contributions in Service. The full agenda of the All-University Faculty meeting is as follows:
