Tsunami-relief Gift for Japan
Twenty-five
students in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning recently
began an interactive project that will result in a custom-made playground for
a Japanese town that was almost destroyed by last year's tsunami. The work
involves direct communication and collaboration with children in Japan to
gather input about how the playground should be designed, and provides the
opportunity to demonstrate a sense of global community spirit while capturing
their experiences along the way.
