On behalf of the Student Wellness Center, I would like to invite you to participate in Friday Night Live
(FNL) throughout the 2012-2013 school year. Friday Night Live will occur twice
a semester, and with the help of student organizations and campus offices, this
new approach will provide a variety of late-night programming options to serve
more students all at once. These events are now truly late-night occurring
between the hours of 9pm-1am in a centralized location on campus, further
supporting the effort to curb high-risk drinking.
Your office and student
groups are encouraged to participate in these events to take advantage of this
captive audience to recruit or advertise your groups activities and services.
Participation in FNL provides an opportunity for those with the desire to hold
an activity or program for UC students, but may not have the capacity or funds
to do it solely on their own. Support of FNL can happen in a variety of
different ways, including, but not limited to:
· Providing volunteers for set
up & tear down
· Providing funding for an
activity, food, etc.
· Planning and facilitating an
activity with your funds and volunteers
· Planning and facilitating an
activity with your volunteers and supportive funds from
Friday Night Live
