Undergraduate Discovery Student Lecture Series

In partnership with UC Libraries, we present the first-ever university-wide undergraduate student lecture series. Happening once per semester, this series will feature outstanding undergraduate students from a variety of majors who have received the URSC Student of the Month Award. Students will present their faculty mentored project through oral presentation or performance.
Our first series will be held on:

Tuesday March 12, 2013
4pm-6pm
Langsam Library

Refreshments will be provided after the presentations and Q & A period.

URSC Student of the Month Award

Beginning Spring 2013, the URSC will begin taking faculty submissions for the URSC Student of the Month Awards. Students who receive this award this semester will be asked to speak at the Undergraduate Discovery Student Lecture Series on March 12, 2013 @ Langsam Library.
Requirements for consideration:
- Must be a current UC Undergraduate
- Must have completed a faculty mentored project from a category below:
    - Research
    - Scholarly
    - Creative/Performance
    - Co-op
    - Internship
    - Study Abroad
Students from all UC Colleges and majors will be considered for this award. Faculty may nominate outstanding undergraduate students for this award by clicking on the button below!

UC Undergraduate Discovery Workshops - Jan 28th, Feb 25th, Mar 25th!

Undergraduate Discovery Workshops

The Undergraduate Discovery Workshop is designed to educate undergraduate students on the necessary steps to take to reach career goals, as well as gain research, scholarly and creative opportunities. These workshops will use a variety of exciting methods to engage students. After successful completion of the workshop students will have an opportunity to be paired with a R.E.C.O.N. Mentor if they choose.
