Sustainability Summit?
The Student Sustainability Summit will be a weekend long retreat-style conference for University of Cincinnati students who care about Sustainability.
The Student Sustainability Summit will be a weekend long retreat-style conference for University of Cincinnati students who care about Sustainability.
The purpose of the Summit is to work with students who hope to our University
more environmentally, socially, or economically sustainable and teach them how
to accomplish these goals. Outcomes of the Summit will be a strengthened
understanding of UC|Sustainability, better organizational leadership and
advocacy skills, improved work plans for Student Sustainability Coalition
groups, and a larger culture of student leaders united to make UC more sustainable.
The Summit will be
held in Hueston Woods the
weekend of 11/11/11 to 11/13/11. Food, lodging, t-shirt, and water bottles
will be provided. Students must provide their own transportation.
There is
a $20 registration fee once applicants have been accepted, which will be
refunded at the end of the Summit.
