12:00pm until 1:30pm
TUC Mainstreet Cinema
We have selected the theme “His Voice, Our Voice” for this year’s Martin Luther King, Jr. program.
Martin Luther King, Jr.’s voice was a driving force during the Civil Rights Movement. His courage to speak openly and candidly about what must be done to create equality within American society provided inspiration for others to use their voices worldwide.
This year’s program will focus on the power within each of our voices and how we can use examples from those in our past to fuel our efforts today to secure an equal society.
Keynote Speaker: Robert E. Richardson, Jr. - UC Board of Trustees
