The women of Shadesof You welcome you to volunteer for our annual community service event of the year.
Our Prom Dress Bazaar is an opportunity for young ladies to receive a prom dress that they otherwise may not have been able to afford. This event will take place during spring quarter 2012 with the theme of “The Bold & The Beautiful”. We need volunteers to help collect dresses, and set-up on the day of the event. Your help is not only greatly appreciated but also imperative to the success of this bizarre.
This winter quarter we ask that you dig out those old prom/homecoming dresses and ask friends and family to do the same. Then bring them back to campus for donation to our wonderful event. Dresses can be dropped off in the African AmericanCultural and Resource Center (AACRC) or at Ethnic Programs & Services (EPS) or with our Prom Dress Bizarre Co-Chairs Ajanti George and Dymonica Hurdle.
