UCASA will be having a meeting this upcoming Friday September the 28th 2012 at 4pm in Swift 819.
We will be discussing the misrepresentations of Africa. We will be observing the new controversial Rick Ross video among other examples of how the media misrepresents Africa as a whole. Be ready to discuss the stereotypes associated with Africa, how the media play into it and what we can do to eliminate this ongoing problem.
Bring an open-mind along with your thoughts and opinions. We can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks. Light refreshment will be provided.
