Each Spring, the University of Cincinnati Undergraduate Student Government holds elections, in which the new Student Body President, Vice President, and eight At-Large Senators are elected by the entire undergraduate student body. These elected members are chosen to represent over 30,000 undergrads in important university matters, including initiating positive change they wish to see at UC.
For anyone interested in running for an elected position in Student Government, there are a few important dates:
Elections info packets will be available every day in the Student Government office in 655 Steger and will be due by WEDNESDAY MARCH 28, 2012 at 5:00 pm.
There will be information sessions for anyone interested in running for an elected position. They will be held in Catskeller and will be on:
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 28, 2012 at 12:00 pm
THURSDAY MARCH 1, 2012 at 12:00 pm AND 6:00 pm
Campaigning for elections will begin MONDAY, APRIL 2 at 8:00 am and will end WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18 at 5:00 pm. Voting will take place April 16-18, with results being announced on April 18 at 6pm in 425 TUC.
