1000 Women Strong`s 1st Volunteer Project is to create " Make It, Take It" Kits to enhance childhood education in Price Hill. These kits are simple and educational activities that the childcare providers can do with the children and can be given to the children`s parents for continued education at home.

Why This Project Makes an Impact:
Family childcare providers in Price Hill are typically women caring for four to six children in their home. Most of the women do not currently possess adequate financial resources for infrastructure and quality educational materials. Previous state and federal training programs and resources have been reduced or completely eliminated due to the economic downturn.
