Do you have plans for MLK Day? If not, join RAPP in the 36th annual MLK Day March Downtown, we participate every year!
The march starts at 10:30AM in front of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. At 11:00AM on Fountain Square there is a brief interfaith prayer service, followed by a march to Music Hall.
You can meet us at the Freedom Center or join us for the trip there.
We will be meeting on Clifton Ave in front of the Stratford Heights Buildings @ 9:45AM to take a bus downtown then walk to the Freedom Center. We will provide tokens so that all who ride down with us travel for free. It is important that you are there on time so that you don't miss the bus!
We anticipate arriving around 10:15-10:20AM.

After the march, we will provide tokens and information to return home. You are also welcome to stay for the MLK Commemorative Celebration that takes place in Music Hall at 12PM.
Please come warmly dressed because most likely it will be cold!
