Second Annual Greater Cincinnati Anti-Bullying Summit - February 12th!

Join GLSEN Greater Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, the Council on Child Abuse, the Human Rights Campaign, Talbert House & the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati as we host the second annual anti-bullying summit:  
 
Improving School Outcomes. Preventing bullying, harrassment & intimidation against students who are(or are percieved to be) gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.
February 12th, 2013
Learn effective strategies to prevent bullying, harassment & intimidation and improve school climate, student mental health outcomes & academic performance.
Keynotes Include:
  • U.S. Department of Education Research and Policy for Bullying Prevention Initiatives (Dr. Deb Tempkin)
  • Ohio Attorney General’s Office (Jennifer Brumby, Esq.)
  • Human Rights Campaign (Kim Westheimer)
Other presentations will include: Creating Safe Spaces by Shawn Jeffers of GLSEN Greater Cincinnati.
The summit is free and includes Breakfast and Lunch. Attendees will be granted 5 CEUs.
