Fund for Education Abroad Works to Increase Number & Diversity of American Undergraduates Studying Abroad

From UC International:

The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the number and diversity of American undergraduate students studying abroad.  We work to reduce financial restrictions for these students and were able to award twelve scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year.

We are now looking for students who are planning to study during the 2013-2014 academic year.  Hoping to reach more students, we have altered our award period, which now includes Summer 2013, Fall 2013, and Spring 2014.  Our deadline has been moved as well, and this year we are accepting applications beginning November 15, 2012 through January 18, 2013.  We hope that this application period is more accessible to students who may not begin considering study abroad over a year ahead of time.

Application details can be found here:  http://www.fundforeducationabroad.org

For questions or further information, contact FEA's Program Manager, Beth Lokken.  She can be reached via phone (202-340-7340) or email (blokken@fundforeducationabroad.org).
