This Week in Sustainability: Film, Workshop, & Supper Discussion!

From UC Sustainability:

           Sustainability Film Series
a.       The first film of the semester will be shown on Monday, January 28, at 7pm in the MainStreet Cinema.  It will be Colony, a film which examines the Colony Collapse Disorder affecting beehives and the efforts of beekeepers to save the bees and their businesses.

          Sustainability Workshop Series
a.       This semester our workshop series will kick off with a discussion of home brewing.  Join us on Wednesday, January 30, 7pm for this hands-on learning experience.  Ginger ale will be used as an example.
Sustainability Supper Discussion
a.       As part of the new environmental literacy certificate of achievement program, we will be hosting a monthly discussion over dinner.  Dinner will be provided, and reading materials are available at the UC libraries.  The first event will take place on January 31st at 6:30pm in Room 407 Annie Laws Meeting Room, Teachers College.
b.      Participants must RSVP to green@uc.edu, and space is limited to 20 people.  Participants will be asked to come prepared to discuss a short reading.  Information on the selected reading will be available upon receipt of an RSVP.
c.       This semester officially begins our Environmental Literacy Certificate of Achievement program!  Get all the details on our website.
