First Wednesday RAPP XXVI Meeting Reflections

Yesterday marked the first meeting of the RAPP XXVI Wednesday group and we got our year together off to a great start!  The Wednesday group did a great job settling in and beginning to talk about often difficult topics.

Our co-facilitators Kinsey & Kimmins led most of the session and Peer Leader Jojo stepped in to lead a portion as well.  Peer Leader Marjorie brought many thought-provoking questions to her groups small and large.

We had a good attendance showing with 31 of the 35 members coming - though I'm looking forward already to the group growing stronger together with that.

Considering the challenges of talking about race in a racially diverse group of strangers, the group rose to the task of listening to and challenging each other already.  I think that as our group's relationships grow, the conversations will as well.

I'm really looking forward to the year ahead with all of RAPP XXVI!  Great work has already been done by all!
