UC Participates in National Day of Silence - Tomorrow!

A reminder about tomorrow:
Please join the LGBTQ Center for the UC Day of Silence on Friday, April 15th.  Day of Silence (DOS) is a day of action in which students across the country take some form of a vow of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools and communities.
The events for the day are listed below, and while I know most of you can probably not participate in a full day of silence, please show your support by stopping by the Silent Lunch between 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in 743 Steger Student Life Center.

Friday, April 15th
·         Silent Lunch.  11 a.m. – 2 p.m. @ 743 Steger Student Life Center
Lunch will be provided, along with a silent space and materials for people to express themselves through writing and/or art.

·         Breaking the Silence.  5:00 p.m. @ Bearcat Plaza (space between TUC and Steger)

Please check the UC LGBTQ Center website
http://www.uc.edu/lgbtq.html for more information or our Facebook page (University of Cincinnati LGBTQ Center) where you can also RSVP for the event.
