Addressing the Demographic Imperative: Recruiting and Preparing a Diverse and Highly Effective Teaching Force

Institute Location:  Holmes Student Center, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb IL

Teacher education programs, teaming with school districts and community partners, are invited to participate in the NAME Summer Institute.  Sessions focusing on the recruitment, preparation and retention of teachers of color and/or language minorities, will be facilitated by leaders of nationally recognized programs.

Registration fees:

• Teams of 5 or more: $575 per individual participant before May 15, 2012; $600 after May 15, 2012
• Teams of 3-4: $600 per individual participant before May 15, 2012; $625 after May 15, 2012
• Individuals: $625
