Red Hot+ HIV/AIDS Video Contest Deadline Extended to Monday, October 31

From Advocates for Youth:
Red Hot+ HIV/AIDS Video Contest
Deadline Extended to Monday, October 31
Due to a recent surge of interest, as well as concerns over timing with the Fall Semester just getting underway, we wanted to give you more time to enter the contest and share your perspective on HIV/AIDS. Whether it's through a video from your webcam or iPhone, or a short film produced with Final Cut Pro, we each have a different and valuable story to share.

The four winning contestants will each receive a $2,500 cash prize and a trip for two to New York City. To learn more, watch our short promo video:
Enter the Red Hot+ Video Contest
You can submit a video in two categories: Short Film (up to 10 minutes long) or Educational PSA (PSAs can be 15, 30, 60, or 90 seconds long). The only strict requirements:

1) Your video must be about HIV/AIDS, whether overtly or thematically.

2) You must incorporate at least one song from the Red Hot music archive. The most important judging criteria will be the prominence and creative use of this music in your video: submissions that incorporate a Red Hot track in a central way will have a definite edge over videos that simply use a song over the end credits.

Other than that, the only limit is your creativity! There's still plenty of time to enter by October 31, so start recording and editing...we can't wait to see what you do!
